Oleksandr Usyk to face Chazz Witherspoon after Tyrone Spong returns adverse doping test
After opponent Tyrone Spong has been withdrawn, oleksandr Usyk will confront Chazz Witherspoon within his heavyweight debut on Saturday.
As a consequence of returning an adverse doping test, the Illinois State Athletic Commission wont license him to take part, although unbeaten Usyk was due to fight Spong in the Wintrust Arena live on Sky Sports.
Witherspoon (38-3 29 KOs), second cousin of former world heavyweight ruler Tim Witherspoon, is unbeaten in five decades with his last win coming in March
in Atlantic City over Santiago Silgado.
TheGentleman will soon be looking to pull off an upset when he takes on the undisputed cruiserweight champion and will be relishing the opportunity
I can not wait to face Usyk in Chicago, stated the 38-year-old Philadelphian. I have been in training ready for a huge fight, and it will not get bigger than that. Oleksandr is currently stepping into heavyweight - and hes going to find out that it is agame that is totally different.

Usyk debut is after he had been forced to withdraw from his very first fight earlier this year against Carlos Takam with a bicep injury he continued.
