Tammy Abraham deserves his great week, says Frank Lampard
By scoring his eighth Premier League goal of the season in Chelseas 4-1 triumph over Southampton on Super Sunday after the striker followed his England call-up frank Lampard paid tribute.
Abraham, that also netted from the Champions League win over Lille on Wednesday, opened the scoring at St Marys Stadium after he latched onto Callum Hudson-Odois pass and poked a looping conclusion over Angus Gunn which dropped on the line until Maya Yoshida could make a clearance.
The goal assisted Chelsea in their way to a comfortable victory which moved them up to fifth in the Premier League table. It was a sign of Abrahams rising confidence, which Lampard puts down to his hard work and determination behind the scenes.
You speak about if folks are in great shape, things happen for these or else they typically have minutes, said Lampard in his post-match media conference.
For me, that comes from the way Tammy has managed himself all season from the first minutes of jelqing and also the beginning of the season when
people were questioning him in different ways.

Hes made the position his own at the short-term now. He has to keep within the course of the season we will require everybody and that moving since competition is vital.

Abraham was substituted for Batshuayi having taken a knock at the closing stages, but Lampard allayed any injury fears ahead of England Qualifiers against Bulgaria and Czech Republic joking the academy graduate merely sought recognition in the traveling fans.
