Panthers vs. Patriots NFL Pick – Preseason Week 3

Week 3 of the NFL Preseason kicks off Thursday night with six matches on the card. For exactly what folks refer to a dress rehearsal, the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots have been in action. I don't know so much about that in this example. Tom Brady could or may not perform in this game. It's not a lot of dress rehearsal without Brady taking a snap. Bill Belichick has not disclosed much, although brady has stated he would like to get any snaps in the preseason. The Patriots have appeared excellent despite not playing at the preseason. Depth does not look as a problem for the Patriots, particularly due to their defense which is going to be good from the regular season. The Patriots enter with 22-17 across the Titans and also wins over the Lions of 31-3 in the preseason. They looked sharp and crisp . The Lions didn't come close to scoring a touchdown in the competition, since the Patriots came close to pitching a shutout. Note that Brady hasn't played a down, so they did just fine with the backups playing. Brian Hoyer has plenty of expertise in the NFL, so it's not going to be anything new for him, if he gets the start here. Cam Newton hasn't played in the preseason. He is coming from a shoulder injury which limited his ability to zip the ball around in the second-half of 2018. Newton will find an opportunity to shake the rust off against

the Pats in this . He played through the injury when he probably should not have. The Panthers were not a playoff contender, therefore pushing Cam wasn't a move that is fantastic. Ron Rivera has stated that Newton and series from the Pats will play. We won't know until just prior to the match with Belichick will perform with Brady, however they are in company with just two quality copies. Betting odds supplied by bovada.lv This is a chance for Cam convince himself using an NFL area and to shake off the rust. Nothing will be too exotic for the crime in this area. The Panthers started the preseason with a win against the Bears on the road, 23-13, and a loss at home against the courthouse. It's become abundantly clear that the Panthers are going to have no success. The quarterback drama behind Newton is not so encouraging. The Panthers drafted Will Grier, a gunslinger out of West Virginia. He set up monster numbers in school, but that was a shotgun passer from the Big 12. Not each quarterback can visit the NFL and immediately create like Pat Mahomes or Baker Mayfield. Actually, there are a lot more Big 12 QB busts than guys who've found success. The transition is hard for quarterbacks playing that type of spread offense. For Mahomes, he gets by with his ability to scramble and find an openreceiver. Grier doesn't have exactly the ability to run around and make something. The Chiefs were intelligent by implementing components of Mahomes' offense at Texas Tech. This crime in Carolina is built approximately Cam Newton, obviously. Grier is going to need to demonstrate a lot more before he has offensive coordinators structuring a playbook around his skillset. Grier is coming off a shoddy performance, as he handed for 75 yards with an interception on 10-of-19 passing. I really don't have much faith in Kyle Allen and Tyler Heinicke contrary to this deep New England defense as well. Who I really do have faith in his Patriots' rookie Jarrett Stidham. I liked Stidham when he was in school when he was one of those few quarterbacks to figure out the Alabama defense and I still like his outlook. Everybody seemed to forget about him when it was completed, although stidham was talked about frequently during the school football season. The Patriots scooped him up at the fourth-round so far so great in New England. Stidham passed for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Lions and followed it up with a different marquee operation against the Titans. Stidham torched the Titans for 193 yards and a touchdown at a 22-17 win. Spreads dismissed and are covered by quarter play in the preseason. At home on Thursday night, I have more confidence from the Patriots' backups to outperform that the Panthers within this one. Read more here: http://zurichexpats.com/?p=16045
