Jim Jefferies recovering after heart attack

Former Hearts and Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies is recovering after suffering a heart attack while playing golf on Monday. The 68-year-old was taken by ambulance after collapsing on Gullane golf course at East Lothian and is now recovering in hospital. Directed the Tynecastle side to Scottish Cup glory in 1998 beating Rangers. He is now sporting manager at Edinburgh City. "Both the club and Jim want to thank everybody that has been in touch to wish him well and enjoy greatly their form thoughts at this difficult moment." He also managed Dunfermline Berwick Rangers Bradford City and, most lately, and had two spells in charge of Hearts. Hearts, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline wanted him on Mondayevening.
